As he tells the Südostschweiz, he could imagine playing for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers again, because he is from Rapperswil. But, like a lot of players at the end of their contracts this season, he remains realistic: "Who knows what the future will hold."
Neukom played for the Lakers until 2017. He is currently in his fourth season with the SCL Tigers. In three games this season, he has been kept off the score sheet and averaged 12:46 minutes on the ice.
