Niklas Schlegel

"Lugano is a great place, with a cool team," Niklas Schlegel tells Blick. "I can well imagine staying here." Schlegel has been with the team since last season, when, after a bad start to the season, SC Bern did no longer want to count on the young goaltender.
Schlegel has appeared in five games for HC Lugano this season, posting a .951 save percentage. His goalie partner, Sandro Zurkirchen, is currently sidelined by a physical problem.
