According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), Raffainer negotiated with Schmutz' agent Gaëtan Voisard last night and he seems to be optimistic that the SCL Tigers forward will move to Davos next season: "I think it's coming along well," Raffainer told Zaugg when asked about the negotiations.
Even Rikard Franzén, head coach of the SCL Tigers, does not seem to believe that the future of the 26-year-old lies in Langnau: "That's just the way it is in this business," he says. If someone leaves, there will be room for a young talent.
On the other hand, Anthony Huguenin is set to extend his contract with the SCL Tigers. Still according to Zaugg, the 29-year-old defenseman wants to stay in Langnau and his agent - also Gaëtan Voisard - is working on it.
