Ryan Lasch, the new member of the ZSC Lions, is no unknown entity in Switzerland. The 34-year-old played for SC Bern during the 2016-17 season and won the championship title with them. Since then, he has suited up for Frölunda in the SHL and for the Lahden Pelicans in the Liiga.
The Lions have signed Lasch as replacement for Chris Baltisberger, who is done for the season due to a spiral fracture.
"Ryan Lasch is supposed to boost our power play and goal production in general. He has proven that he can do that over the last ten years, averaging a point per game in Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. Like Chris, Ryan is a right-shooter, which gives us options again," team manager Sven Leuenberger states.
