"Yes, I assume that Johan Lundskog will be our head coach as of next season," Raeto Raffainer, Chief Sports Officer of SC Bern reveals when asked by Klaus Zaugg (Watson).
HC Davos' CEO Marc Gianola also confirmed to the Südostschweiz two weeks ago that to his knowledge, Lundskog and SC Bern were in advanced contract negotiations, so Raffainer's statement comes as no surprise.
Lundskog had already been of interest to SC Bern last year, but he still had a valid contract with HC Davos at the time and wanted to honor it. However, the assistant coach's deal with HCD expires at the end of this season.
