Apparently, Petr Svoboda, LHC's Director of Hockey Operations, was not satisfied with Conacher's performance so far (14 points in 21 games) while SC Bern has been looking for a replacement for Swede Ted Brithén, who recently returned to Sweden.

In Bern, the 31-year-old Conacher has signed a contract, which is valid until 2023, as SC Bern announces. However, according to the Berner Zeitung, not for the same salary. The Canadian had to accept a pay cut in order to move to Bern.

Lausanne HC, for their part, do not seem to be done on the market. According to Sport-Center, they are looking for an additional import-player, maybe even two. "We are exploring several possibilities to reinforce us," Petr Svoboda says.
