Ronalds Kenins' contract with LHC would have expired at the end of the current season. But now it looks like they have already locked him up for years to come: the two parties have reportedly agreed on a new deal, which will keep Kenins in Lausanne until 2026.

The Latvian, who is in possession of a Swiss license, has been playing for Lausanne HC for three seasons now. With 26 points (seven goals) in 41 games this season, he is currently the Lions' fourth-best scorer.
