The SIHF has announced that four members of SCB have tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Following the decision of the cantonal physician to send SC Bern in quarantine, the remaining four games of the Bears have been canceled: Genève-Servette HC (March 30), SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers (April 1), HC Fribourg-Gottéron (April 3), and HC Davos (April 5). Also definitely canceled are two games of EHC Biel (in quarantine until tomorrow evening): against the Lakers (March 30) and against HC Ambrì-Piotta (April 1).

Regarding the exact end of the quarantine for SC Bern, the club and the league are in talks with the responsible authorities. Whether the pre-playoffs can start as planned on April 7, is also currently being clarified.

Thanks to their current coefficient of 1,167 points per game, the team from the capital has definitely qualified for the pre-playoffs, as they cannot be passed by both the Lakers and HC Ambrì-Piotta.
