With two important departures on defense, EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy recently stated that he is looking for an import on that position. According to Le Matin's information, the Bulls are in talks with Christian Djoos. Currently a member of the Detroit Red Wings, the defenseman's contract is running out.

Last year, Djoos was linked to another Swiss club, namely EHC Biel, but decided to sign with Detroit instead. The 26-year-old Swede has made 179 games in the NHL for the Wings, the Anaheim Ducks and the Washington Capitals so far. With the latter, he won the Stanley Cup in 2018.
