It would seem that the possibility of staying in the same geographical area is the main reason that pushed Jesper Olofsson to prefer the Tigers rather than the two Swedish teams: "It feels damn fun to continue here, everything has fallen into place. The children can stay in the same school and it is still only half an hour into town in Bern. It will be a good experience for all of us," says Olofsson to the newspaper.
Marc Eichmann, team manager of the Tigers, confirmed four days ago to the Berner Zeitung that they are interested in the 29-year-old forward and that they are monitoring how Olofsson recovers from the concussion he sustained during the playoffs.
