Roger Karrer will stay until 2025, while Marc-Antoine Pouliot, Benjamin Antonietti, and Giancarlo Chanton will indeed be part of the roster.

Four more years in Geneva for Roger Karrer.

Roger Karrer has been inked to a four-year extension. The 24-year-old defenseman arrived in Geneva from Zürich for the 2019-20 season. Moreover, Genève-Servette HC confirms the rumors that emerged in the past days: whereas Marc-Antoine Pouliot (from EHC Biel) has signed a one-year contract plus an option for an additional year, Benjamin Antonietti returns to Geneva from Lausanne with a two-year contract in the pocket.

For his part, Giancarlo Chanton has signed his first professional contract, which will extend until the end of the 2023-24 season. Chanton, 18, arrives from the U20 team of the SCL Tigers and spent part of this season with SC Langenthal in the Swiss League.

Marc Gautschi, team manager of GSHC, is satisfied with the market operations: "The extension of Roger Karrer and the arrival of Giancarlo Chanton allow us to build the team's defense for the long term with very talented young players. Marc-Antoine Pouliot and Benjamin Antonietti will bring their experience and game sense to the group."

In addition to these new signings, the Grenats have also added two young players to their expanded roster: defenseman Olivier Guignard and forward Théo Campagna. The two 18-year-old will take part in the practice sessions and in the summer preparation.
