Kristian Kapp (Tages-Anzeiger) reported yesterday that EHC Biel is close to signing Oliver David as the successor of Anders Olsson. While team manager Martin Steinegger did not confirm that particular report, he did disclose to the Journal du Jura that they are in contact with him.
"I can confirm that we are in contact with him and that he is a very serious candidate [for the position]," Steinegger stated. According to the Bieler Tagblatt, David, who was the USHL 'Coach of the Year' in the 2019-20 season, seems to be the front runner for the position.
