As a compensation for dissolving the contract, EV Zug has agreed to pay an undisclosed transfer fee and is also going to loan one of their players to HCAP for the upcoming Spengler Cup, the Leventinesi announce. Marco Müller is going to join his new team as soon as tomorrow.

Zug's team manager Reto Kläy is happy about his new acquisition: "Marco Müller has developed into a complete player over the last few years. We are pleased that he now wants to take his next career step with EVZ."

HC Ambrì-Piotta says that three reasons have led to the decision to let Müller go. First, the forward's wish to take on a new challenge after a disappointing season. Second, the financial restrictions in connection with the à-fonds-perdu contributions and, third, their plan to start the season with five import-players.
