Elia Mazzolini retires

"As many of you already know, I have made the decision to stop my professional career!" Elia Mazzolini states on his Instagram account. "It certainly was not an easy choice [to make], but I think it's the right thing to do for my future!"
Elia Mazzolini is a product of HC Lugano's organization. Before joining HC Ambrì-Piotta in 2018, he mostly suited up for the HCB Ticino Rockets. Since his arrival in Ambrì, the forward split his time between the Rockets and the Biancoblù.
Last season, Mazzolini recorded one goal and one assist in 28 games for HCAP as well as one goal in twelve games for the Rockets.
