According to Reto Kirchhofer (Berner Zeitung), the Bears have agreed to terms with Yannick Hänggi and Timothy Kast.

Both players had been offered a tryout by SC Bern and managed to convince the staff of their skills. Hänggi last played for the HCB Ticino Rockets and HC Davos. Kast, for his part, suited up for Genève-Servette HC last season and has, as the Tribune de Genève reports, signed a one-year deal with SC Bern.

In other news, SC Bern announced today that they closed the financial year with a loss of CHF 1,536,142. The deficit would have been bigger if fans, sponsors, employees, and the confederation had not chipped in as well. In February, CEO Marc Lüthi told Keystone-SDA that he expected a loss of CHF 2 to 3 million.
