TPS, his current team, announced on Friday that Lauri Korpikoski would be loaned to a foreign team for the remainder of the season. They did, however, not disclose in which championship he would play.
According to Blick, EHC Biel has managed to secure the services of the Finn. He will serve as an injury replacement for Jere Sallinen. Korpikoski has not yet played a single game this season. The forward is familiar with Switzerland. He suited up for the ZSC Lions in the 2017-18 season.
