The 32-year-old Canadian has put his signature under a two-year deal with SC Bern and will thus leave HC Fribourg-Gottéron after this season.

It is a move that has gotten more and more concrete over the past days. Now, the deal is officially confirmed. "Chris DiDomenico plays with emotion and a great fighting spirit," SCB's team manager Andrew Ebbett says about his new acquisition. "That's exactly what we want in our team."

In addition to Cory Conacher ((CAN)), Kaspars Daugavins ((LAT)), and Dominik Kahun ((GER), NHL out-clause), SC Bern now has four import-players on their roster for the upcoming season.

Bern will be Chris DiDomenico's third club in Switzerland after the SCL Tigers and HC Fribourg-Gottéron. In Fribourg, he is currently the team's undisputed top scorer with 26 points (nine goals) in 24 games.
