Citing Finnish sources, Klaus Zaugg (Watson) reports that Vili Saarijärvi will likely suit up for the SCL Tigers in the 2022-23 season. He is rumored to be paid about CHF 200,000.
The Finn was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 2015 and has played in North America for several seasons. He has, however, only ever appeared in AHL games. This season, the defenseman has recorded four goals and eleven assists in 22 games.
