Jérémie Kamerzin's contract will expire at the end of this season. As team manager and coach Christian Dubé tells La Liberté, the 33-year-old defender will probably have to leave: "I indeed think that it's going to be complicated for him."

Furthermore, HC Fribourg-Gottéron is going to start the upcoming season with five imports instead of six. "I do not think we will have enough room in our budget for a sixth import player", Dubé says.

As for the goaltending position, backup goalie Connor Hughes might stay in Switzerland. If he is ready to keep the role as a backup behind Reto Berra.
