The SCL Tigers are looking for a goaltender for the 2022-23 season, preferably a Swiss one, the Berner Zeitung reports.

The newspaper speculates that Stéphane Charlin might be an option for the SCL Tigers. The netminder is under contract with Genève-Servette HC until the end of the 2023-24 season, but he will need to get in some games in order to develop properly.

Genève-Servette HC will have Gauthier Descloux and Robert Mayer at their disposal next season. It is thus unlikely that Charlin will get a lot of ice time, at least in Geneva. A loan to the SCL Tigers, who are on the lookout for a second netminder, might thus be a good solution for both parties.

Genève-Servette HC's team manager Marc Gautschi confirms to the Berner Zeitung that they are currently looking for a spot for Charlin for the 2022-23 season in both the National League and the Swiss League. Marc Eichmann, team manager of the SCL Tigers, on the other hand, was not willing to comment on the report.
