The Canadian forward has committed to the club from the Ticino until 2025.

HC Lugano

The new year came with a new extension for Daniel Carr and HC Lugano. Team and player agreed to a deal valid for the coming three seasons. The Canadian's initial contract would have run out in summer.

Carr joined the Bianconeri for the first time in September 2020 on a short-term contract, but then also signed with the Washington Capitals. The NHL-team loaned the forward back to Lugano until the season preparation overseas kicked off. Last summer, the 30-year-old once again joined the Bianconeri.

""We are very happy to be able to announce a three-year contract renewal with Daniel and look forward to having him with us long-term", team manager Hnat Domenichelli comments the extension.

In 20 games so far in the National League, Carr has recorded eleven goals and ten assists. He was sidelined by injuries for parts of the current season.
