Charles Hudon has yet to be called up to the NHL by the Lightning, but, for now, he has no regrets, as he tells La Presse: "I'll never know if it was the right decision to come back or if I should have stayed there. [...] It's not that I didn't like Switzerland. It's just a different mentality. My goal is to go back there to finish my career because I know my chances of playing in the NHL are getting slimmer and slimmer."
The forward spent the 2020-21 season playing for Lausanne HC. The former fifth-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens recorded 15 goals and 17 assists in 33 games for LHC. This season, he has put up eleven goals and eleven assists in 25 games.
