The rumor of the past days has found confirmation today: SC Bern will be able to count on Éric Gélinas for the next two seasons. "Éric brings leadership qualities, toughness, and a strong two-way game" comments SCB's team manager Andrew Ebbett.
For the next season, SC Bern has now five imports under contract: defenseman Éric Gélinas and forwards Chris DiDomenico, Dominik Kahun, Kaspars Daugavins, and Cory Conacher.
Since returning to Rögle BK in late November from a short stint with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL, Gélinas has appeared in twelve games for them, in which he scored one goal and added one assist.
