In preparation for next season, the SCL Tigers have decided to bolster their defense with the extension of two veteran defenders, Yannick Blaser and Sebastian Schilt, whose contracts would have expired in a few months.
"Yannick Blaser is a leader and sets the best example. His willingness to sacrifice for the team is remarkable," says team manager Marc Eichmann, who has nice words also for Sebastian Schilt: "Schilt is playing a very solid season so far and especially young players can benefit enormously from his great experience and defensive stability".
Often plagued by injuries in the past, this season Yannick Blaser has managed to play in 39 games for the Tigers so far, recording nine points. Schilt, for his part, has collected twelve points in 35 games.
