"I want to continue playing next season," Valtteri Filppula revealed in an interview with the Finnish news outlet MTV Uutiset. One reason for him to keep playing is a successful season - also in terms of health: "It has been really nice to play this season without injuries."
There is, however, no indication from Filppula yet where he is planning to continue his career. The door in Geneva would be wide open for him. Team manager Marc Gautschi already made clear that he would like to keep his Finnish forwards Sami Vatanen and Valtteri Filppula.
Currently, however, Filppula is in Tampa/USA and is looking forward to play at the World Championship with Finland after the big success with the team at the Olympics.
