For which club Kukan is going to suit up in the future is not yet known, but it is likely to be the ZSC Lions, as the Tages-Anzeiger writes. Kukan also confirmed his intentions to Fernando Lavezzo (Corriere del Ticino): "I want a team where I can play continuously. That's why I decided to return to Switzerland," Kukan said.

The 28-year-old left the Lions' organization in 2011 and moved to Sweden. In 2015, he took the leap to North America, where he signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL. Now it seems he will return to where he started.

For the past four seasons, Dean Kukan was a regular for the Columbus Blue Jackets. This past season, he appeared in 41 games for them, in which he scored three goals and added eight assists.
