"We have inquiries from several teams and will soon decide whether to loan Keanu Derungs out for a limited time" states Marc Gautschi, team manager of Genève-Servette HC. According to Zaugg, the SCL Tigers are the club pushing the hardest for Derungs.
Gautschi, however, does not see a perfect solution to this situation: "The question is whether we loan Keanu to a weaker team where he then hardly sees a puck or to the Swiss League where the training quality is not as good as with us or whether we prefer to keep him here".
Derungs returned to Switzerland and joined the Grenats during the summer, after three seasons in WHL with the Victoria Royals. With Geneva, Derungs has not stepped on the ice this season yet.
