Blick reported yesterday that Martin Steinegger has been in talks with the forward. He will join the team next week. Riley Shehan cleared unconditional waivers earlier this week and thus became a free agent. The forward last played for the Buffalo Sabres and their AHL team, the Rochester Americans.
Debuting in the NHL in the 2011-12 season, the Canadian suited up for the Detroit Red Wings, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Florida Panthers, the Edmonton Oilers, the Seattle Kraken, and, lastly, the Buffalo Sabres.
