Janick Steinmann, the team manager of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, believes that Michal Jordán is an "absolute top defender": "Jordán is a robust defender with experience at the very highest level and leadership qualities". Jordan has already arrived in Rapperswil, however, he is not eligible to play until he has been cleared by the Russian federation.
The 32-year-old arrives from Amur Khabarovsk, which he thus leaves after five seasons and a half. In this first part of the 2022-23 season, in which he also wore the "C" on his jersey for the KHL team, Jordán collected eleven points in 22 games.
