Apart from long-term injured players Sandro Brügger, Niki Altorfer, and Patric Hofstetter, they will also have to make do without Esbjørn Fogstad Vold and Oliver Achermann.
Gerber made his National League debut for SC Bern earlier this season but did not put his name on the scoresheet in the three games he played for them. In eleven games for their Elite-A team, he recorded ten goals and ten assists.
