"I was looking for a new challenge," Rolf Tresch states. A challenge, which he now has found in Kloten: There were several options. When I saw Kloten's concept, it was clear to me that I wanted to support it."

One decisive point for the 46-year-old has been the atmosphere in and around the club. "It's unbelievable how the fans stand by the club in the Swiss League and push the team forward. I've rarely seen anything like it," he says to the same source.

For EHC Kloten, Tresch has long-term goals. "There is no timeline. We want to lead the club into quieter waters." But for now, the season ahead is the focus of their attention: "I don't want to look too far ahead now. Everything has been arranged for next season. I want to get to know the people, show myself and not talk about a possible promotion."
