Guillaume Asselin joins from the Slovak team HC Banská Bystrica (Tipsport Liga), where he played for the last two years and won the national championship twice. Prior to coming to Europe, the 26-year-old suited up for ECHL-teams as well as the University of Québec-Trois-Rivières. His later junior years, from 2008 until 2013, were spent with the Montréal Juniors (not active anymore) and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in the QMJHL.

Éric Castonguay also used to play in the QMJHL, for the Lewiston MAINEiacs. After his junior time, the 31-year-old suited up for AHL- and ECHL-teams from 2007 to 2011. He then went on to play in France for two years, returned to North America for one season and switched back to Europe again, signing with Frisk Asker in the Norwegian Get Ligaen. Remaining in Scandinavia, Castonguay spent the last four years with Swedish teams in both the SHL and the HockeyAllsvenskan.
