HC Thurgau parts ways with forward Sascha Figi

Sascha Figi has played overseas for the past three years and returned to Switzerland this season. This spring, HC Thurgau signed Figi to a deal until the end of the 2020-21 season, with a clause allowing the club to terminate the contract with Figi by September 15.

Based on the ice training sessions already carried out and the pre-season games played so far, the coaches, in consultation with the team manager, have decided to terminate Figi's contract effective immediately.
