While Harlacher will stay in Kloten at least until spring 2020, Patrick Obrist has signed a three-year extension valid through the 2022-23 season. The Austrian forward, who is in possession of a Swiss player's license, joined EHC Kloten in 2015 and has played there since that moment.

"Patrick is an important man for us on and off the ice. We are happy to be able to sign him on for another three years and thus keep the core of the team together," says team manager Felix Hollenstein about the contract extension.

This season, Harlacher mainly played with EHC Bülach in the MySports League, but also two games with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. Obrist, in 13 games this season, scored one goal and collected three assists.
