According to the Schweiz am Wochenende, not only Brennan Othmann was supposed to join the Mice, but also Canadian forward Mason McTavish.

Olten's team manager Marc Grieder is looking for help from overseas.

In comparison to Othmann, 17-year-old Mason McTavish is only in possession of a Swiss player's license, but not a Swiss passport. This is why he was stopped at the airport in Montréal due to the current travel restrictions, the Oltner Tagblatt reports. It is not yet clear if McTavish will be able to travel to Switzerland in the foreseeable future.

Mason McTavish is the son of Dale McTavish, who played for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, the ZSC Lions, and EV Zug during his career. Mason is currently under contract with the OHL's Peterborough Petes. Last season, he recorded 42 points (29 goals) in 57 games for them.
