HC Thurgau is looking at options to replace Derek Hulak.

"Yes, we are looking at alternatives," HC Thurgau's team manager Gody Kellenberger confirms to the Thurgauer Zeitung. Due to the pandemic there are more quality players available than in other seasons: "And they cost almost nothing," Kellenberger adds.

Nevertheless, HC Thurgau hopes that Derek Hulak will get better soon. "It would be a shame if Derek couldn't continue playing for us. He has made such a good impression." So far, the Canadian forward has only appeared in eight games for the Lions (one goal, one assist).
