Eliot Antonietti to suit up in the Swiss League

HC Lugano announced at the end of April that they would not extend Eliot Antonietti's contract. The defenseman had only been part of their organization for one season and also had to suit up for the HCB Ticino Rockets.
The product of Genève-Servette HC's organization will join EHC Olten in August when the Swiss League team will start their on-ice practice. Last season, Antonietti recorded one assist in 31 regular-season games for Lugano.
According to the Oltner Tagblatt, EHC Olten is also close to signing a new assistant coach. While the newspaper did not disclose a new, it is clear that it will not be Rolf Schrepfer or Andrew Ebbett. Both had been candidates for the position.
