Swiss League

The 37-year-old captain of SC Langenthal has one year left on his contract with the Swiss League team.

However, according to Klaus Zaugg (published in the Oltner Tagblatt), Stefan Tschannen will retire from professional hockey at the end of this season and get a job in the youth department of SC Langenthal.

Tschannen has been with the Swiss League team since 2010 and has served as their captain, with the exception of one season, since 2011. This season, the forward has recorded four goals and 13 assists in 17 games.
