In the last few days, EHC Visp has been busy with the construction of the team for the upcoming season. In Noël Bader and Dan Weisskopf, the Valaisans might have found two players with National League experience to add to their roster.

Bader has been part of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers since 2018 and has made 58 appearances in the National League so far. The 26-year-old also occasionally suits up for HC Thurgau. In January, it was reported that Bader was high on the wish-list of HC Ajoie.

Dan Weisskopf, for his part, has been playing for EHC Olten for three seasons. The product of the organization of EHC Biel has recorded eleven points in 42 games with the Powermäuse this season. Olten is currently leading the semifinal series against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds for 3-0.

In addition to these two possible reinforcements, the Walliser Bote also writes that the club has apparently extended the contracts of Stefan Mäder, Valentin Pilet, and Andy Ritz. Moreover, Lou Bogdanoff, whose contract with HC Ajoie has not been extended, might be an option.

As for the outgoing market, Sandro Brügger has reportedly raised interest from newly-promoted EHC Basel and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. The 30-year-old forward, whose contract with EHC Visp is expiring, has been with them since 2018 and has recorded 34 points (eleven goals) this season.
