HC La Chaux-de-Fonds will face the GCK Lions, EHC Visp will play against EHC Basel, SC Langenthal will battle EHC Winterthur, HC Thurgau will suit up against HC Sierre and the HCB Ticino Rockets will try to beat EHC Olten in the first round of the championship on September 16.
Each Swiss League team will have to play in 45 games in the regular season. The playoffs are supposed to start on February 14, nine days after the end of the regular season.
