Finn Jarno Kärki joins the GCK Lions from the Liiga's Ässät, where he played for most of his career. It will not be the first time in Switzerland for the 27-year-old. as he had a short stint with EHC Biel in the spring of 2019.

Rihards Melnalksnis comes from the SCL Tigers. Last season, the 23-year-old forward mainly played for EHC Kloten though. Fellow Latvian Nauris Sejejs was a member of Genève-Servette HC's youth organization. The defenseman, 21, recently made his first steps in the Swiss League with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Dominic Buchli last played for the EVZ Academy. In June, it was announced that the 24-year-old had signed with EHC Dübendorf, but now it seems he will be part of GCK.

Last but not least, Mattia Hinterkircher is back in the Lions' organization. The 27-year-old left them for HC Ambrì-Piotta in 2019. Via HC Thurgau and Kloten, he has now found his way to Zurich once again.
