Urban Leimbacher will no longer be functioning as HC Thurgau's CEO and team manager. Differences in views on strategy development have lead to his desire to leave and to the club reviewing its structures.
The announced changes within the organization involve a re-focus of the administrative board on strategic matters and leaving the operative business to management, as well as the addition of two new board- and one new management position.
With Leimbacher's departure, a new CEO and a new team manager are needed. As part of the changes, the new CEO's focus is set to be on marketing and finances. The new team manager will be responsible for the sportive operation and have some duties within the youth department.
