Dominic Hobi would have been at the end of his deal with HC Thurgau next spring. However, the sports commission of HC Thurgau wanted to make sure to keep him with the team, as CEO Urban Leimbacher states: "Players like Hobi are rare on the Swiss League market."
Hobi has been with the Lions since the 2019-20 season. This season, he has recorded 14 goals and six assists in 21 games.
