They have agreed to a three-year contract with a cap hit of $925,000. The deal will run through 2022.

Kurashev will remain with the Quebec Remparts for now. He is currently in his third seasons with the QMJHL team and has recorded 28 goals and 34 assists in 57 games this season.

The forward was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fourth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old has also played for the Swiss national team on various levels since his U16 days.
