Next Sunday, the Washington Capitals' development camp is going to start, and Swiss forward Damien Riat will be among the participating players. In September, the Caps will have their main training camp in which the 22-year-old will also take part.

Is there a chance for Riat to continue his career in the Capitals' organization? Their fourth-round pick from 2016 could take a similar path as defenceman Jonas Siegenthaler, Le Matin points out. Siegenthaler joined Washington's AHL-team, the Hershey Bears, in 2017 and went on gaining a shot to play in the NHL this past season, making 30 appearances.
