The two goaltenders will both be in Newark for the next five days and practice with their fellow prospects of the NHL-organization.

Gilles Senn and Akira Schmid are going to attend the New Jersey Devils' development camp, which takes place at Prudential Center, the team's home arena.

Senn has signed an entry-level deal with the Devils in April and is expected to play in the organization, most likely for their AHL-affiliate, once the season kicks off. Schmid does not yet have a contract for the upcoming season. The 19-year-old spent most of the last year with the Omaha Lancers in the USHL.

Both netminders are fifth-round draft picks. Senn was selected as 129th overall in 2017, Schmid as 136th overall a year ago.
