As Beaud writes, Damien Riat will leave in direction of North America right away, where he is probably going to start the season with the Hershey Bears, the Washington Capitals' affiliate in the AHL. The Bears will play their first game of the new season on February 5.
Damien Riat, who has put his signature under a two-year deal with the Washington Capitals almost a year ago, has suited up for Genève-Servette HC in 20 games this season. He scored seven goals and added 11 assists for a total of 18 points.
