The NHL Central Scouting Services released their final rankings ahead of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft that will take place on July 23-24.

Brennan Othmann is high on the list ahead of the 2021 NHL draft.

The list is divided between North American and International skaters and goaltenders. The top-ranked prospect on the North American list is Michigan defenseman Owen Power, while the list of European skaters is lead by Swedish winger William Eklund. NHL teams and other scouting services compile their own prospect rankings and there seems to be no consensus top prospect this year.

Several Swiss prospects and players with a Swiss players' license have made it onto the NHL Central Scouting's final list, published a couple of days ago.

North American skaters (complete list):

  • #2: Mason McTavish (CAN) (with CH-license), Peterborough Petes (OHL) / EHC Olten
  • #8: Brennan Othmann (CAN)/(SUI), Flint Firebirds (OHL) / EHC Olten
  • #62: Lorenzo Canonica (SUI), Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL) / Lugano U20
  • #86: Simon Knak (SUI), Portland Winterhawks (WHL) / HC Davos
