Rumor

As Marc-André Berset (RTS) and Klaus Zaugg (Watson) both report, Chris McSorley is about to be replaced by Marc Gautschi.

Will Chris McSorley's time in Geneva come to an end?

Marc Gautschi, who has been part of GSHC's sports commission for a bit more than a year now, might already take over from McSorley in the upcoming days, Berset reports. Asked by Berset about the matter, Laurent Strawson, president of Genève-Servette HC, was not willing to comment on the matter, though.

In addition to Berset also Klaus Zaugg (Watson) writes that Genève-Servette HC is going to relieve Chris McSorley from his duties as team manager - and adds that the club is going to confirm the news on Friday morning at 10 o'clock.

If this story turns out to be true it would be the end of an era in Geneva. Chris McSorley, 58, has been part of the club since 2001. For 17 seasons he ran the club as general manager and head coach. In his first season with the Grenats, he led the team from the National League B to Switzerland's top league.
