According to Watson's Klaus Zaugg, HC Ambrì-Piotta will be the second Swiss team at the Spengler Cup coming December besides host HC Davos. They already took part in the 2019-edition, where they reached the semifinal and eventually lost to HC Oceláři Třinec.
